Export a file to a native *.xlsx format by choosing Microsoft Excel Workbook as the file type. All formatting, fonts, colors etc., will save correctly. It creates 3 tabs, cover page, main body and totals. In File/Options, there is now an option to Include Formulas when exporting a spreadsheet to Excel [be cautious if you are choosing a Spreadsheet Report, as you will have columns hidden in your Excel export].
