TUG Tip - Estimating

SQL Estimating – Plug Numbers – 00 Need Sub Price

An easy way to find all of the plug numbers in your estimate is to assign a subcontractor to them when you put in the plug number, then sequence your spreadsheet by subcontractor. If you create a subcontractor with a subcontractor name with leading zero’s, examples: 00 Need Price or 00Plug Number. By doing this the items that need pricing will sort together in the spreadsheet when you use a Subcontractor sort sequence.
