Sage Estimating Tip: Rename your Spreadsheet Columns

You can rename any column on the spreadsheet.

To do this:

  1. Click the column heading to select the column.
  2. Right-click the column and select Column Properties.
  3. Enter the new name in the Column Name field.  (You can also change the column names in Spreadsheet Layout.)

TIP:  If you want to know the original name, hover your mouse over the column name.  The new new column name appears as a tool tip, with the original name in parentheses.  To return the column to the orignal name, select Column Properties, delete the Column Name field, and click OK.
