Easily match the posting period to transaction date

Did you know you can set your posting period to automatically match transaction dates?

Note the new check box at menu # 1-8: General Ledger Setup labeled "Set posting period from transaction date."

When the box is checked the posting period will automatically update to match the transaction date (as long as the period is open.) This can be overridden if desired..
