Take the time to create specific instructions for your company on how you want your Prime Contract Change Order (PCCO) and Schedule of Value (SOV) lines to update in Procore or Sage so you are not having errors or re-entering information.
Understand those line items update in either SAGE or Procore. One GCās recommendation is to add a new SOV line in Procore Prime Contract and then create the PCO and then tie the SOV item to the line item(s) within the change event line items.
Above all, always best to check with the owner/client to verify what SOV is updating prior to entering the PCCO as you do want it to show up correctly for your billings!
