BALANCE SHEET DOESN'T BALANCE

Here’s a Tip:

If the Trial Balance is in balance, but the Balance Sheet doesn’t balance, recreate the default financial statements in FS.  It may be that someone set up an account with the wrong Account Type, and that’s what’s throwing you out of balance.  Since the default statements list the account numbers, an account that’s out of place will stick out.

Run the GL>Reports>Lists>Chart of Accounts to check the Account Type of all accounts that are set up
