Job Central is a wizard tool to easily help with setting up a job. It walks you thru each step of the process but does not have as many fields available as JC Setup Job.
You can setup a job in JC or PJ and then go into Job Central to enter SOV and Estimate detail which is much easier.
When entering the SOV and Cost Estimate steps – you can cut and paste from an excel spreadsheet to insert quickly. Click on the "scissor" icon in the top right of each of these two steps to learn about the copy and paste feature.
In the Job Structure step, you can select from the standard cost code list and move to the job cost code column as well as easily select which categories you want to have available in the job.
• this is nice shortcut if you cannot remember all the codes.
• Can use control key to insert more than one at a time.
