TUG Tip -- Sage 300 CRE -- Project Management

Change Management and RFI's

Use your RFI's to help manage changes. By doing this you will be able to track the reason(s) for your Change Request. Though change requests are potential in nature, they are an important tool.

Change requests are a great feature because they easily allow you to track time and material as well as potential scope changes requested by the subcontractor or customer.

By using change requests you can add the commitment, cost estimate and price changes without affecting Job Cost or Contracts. Once the change request is approved the only way to manage your costs is to create a Change Order. Change orders can consist of multiple change requests.
