The SAGE 300 CRE Job Setup screen in Job Cost provides Two (2) optional ‘Key’ Fields, along with ‘Name’ Fields, email fields, and 10 check boxes, in addition to Custom Fields.
The 2 (optional) ‘Key’ Fields can be turned on or off in JC Settings and can be used for a variety of purposes – to track PM or PC/PMA initials to use a parameter for reports so users don’t have to type the full name, or to track initials of a 2nd PM or 2nd PMA, to track key parameters (T&M vs NTE Budget, etc), or to track other key internal information such as job type, office location, date of plans, permit #, etc.
