Project Management- How to Search for Keywords in a Crystal Report

I always find myself trying to find specific words in an RFI relating to an issue onsite or just a quick check to see if I already created a change request for an issue that has come up. I don’t like to duplicate my efforts, so I confirm using a summary log in Crystal Reports and I use the ‘Find Text’ (icon looks like binoculars) feature. Here’s a quick screenshot:

  • Open a Crystal Report Summary Log
  • Click on the 'Find Text' or 'binoculars' in your Crystal Report
  • Enter a keyword in the find 'Find Text' space provided
  • Click 'Find Next' (it will continue to search the document for the keyword)
  • When done, click cancel to close
