Ever wonder how to sort your meeting minutes the way you want them? I have a solution, but it also requires you to modify your meeting minutes report in crystal reports.
First, you’ll want to change the name of one of the columns in the items section in Sage, custom descriptions to read “Sort Order” like shown below.
Next, create items for your meeting. Enter the subject, responsible person, sort order-entering the sort order in All CAPS makes it stand out when printing and Start with 01 (this is used to sort your meeting minutes and place items in the order you want to run your meeting. If you do not see your columns, right click on the column header and click on [hide/show cols]. See below for an example.
Here’s an example of a sort order.:
Example of sort order:
01 HOT ITEM
02 PERMITTTING
03 RFIs
04 SUBMITTALS
05 BUYOUT
06 FINANACIALS

When you print your meeting minutes using the meeting minutes crystal reports it will sort your meeting minutes the way you want to see them and talk about them in your meeting.
