Sage 300 CRE TUG Tip of the Week:
How to Export a Inquiry to Excel
Did you know you can export an inquiry to Excel? It’s easy to do and very helpful when you need to present a different format or add information.
- Open the inquiry you want to export by using either the icons at the top of the query window, select “Export to Excel” or use the function, ALT+X.
- The workbook will open in an Excel Binary Workbook (*.xlsb) so it will look a little different than a standard Excel document.
- Save the file as an Excel (*.xlsx) document.
- If you close and reopen the file, it will look like a typical Excel document and you are free to make whatever formatting changes are necessary.
