Searching SAGE 300 CRE Address Book: 

Have you ever tried to look for an entry in your SAGE Address Book and only remember part of the name you are looking for”?

SAGE Address Book only searches by the first word of the Company or Person name. My tip for workable solution is to use ODBC and pull information from Address Book into Excel. This allows a user to search key words, locations, and phone numbers as well as other functionality in Excel. Using ODBC is a skill that I learned at a TUG Annual Conference several years ago and use daily. Here is a snapshot of the Microsoft Query and the results in Excel that can be filtered & searched using Excel functions.
