Generate vs. Regenerate in Billing

Shared by: Megan Haines, Dean Snyder Construction

Don't know when to use generate WIP vs. regenerate WIP in billing? Here's a quick answer. Generate WIP when WIP entries are rejecting. Regenerate WIP when you have already Generated WIP and you have changed a rate table or markup table on a contract item or contract link. This usually would also require you to Sync WIP.
