Tug 2021 National Conference

The safety of our community is of the utmost importance as TUG continues to plan a stress-free educational experience. TUG will be following all safety guidelines put in place by local/state officials at the time of the conference as well as policies and procedures required by the host hotel, the ARIA Resort & Casino. By registering and attending the 2021 TUG National Users Conference, you agree to abide by the health and safety requirements in place by local and hotel officials. TUG will continue to evaluate what is best for our attendees to ensure we can meet safely.

What are the Las Vegas/Nevada current guidelines with regards to COVID-19?

How is conference registration/check-in being handled at the ARIA Resort & Casino?

The registration/check-in process will include an area where you can check in using your mobile app and will receive your badge, lanyard, and conference bag from a TUG staff member or volunteer. Steps to reduce close physical distance and touching will be implemented. TUG is also offering colored stickers at registration to allow attendees to indicate their comfort levels with regards to social distancing. Extra face masks, hand sanitizer, and disinfectant wipes will be provided.

Will I be required to wear a mask at the TUG National Users Conference?

Please refer to the below statement within the mask and PPE policy in place by the ARIA Resort & Casino/MGM Resorts:

Following CDC guidance and requirements set forth by the State of Nevada, masks are required for all guest and employees in all inside public spaces in Nevada, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are provided upon request for anyone in need of one.

Do I need to be vaccinated or provide a negative COVID test to attend the 2021 TUG National Users Conference?

No, you do not need to be vaccinated nor do you need to provide a negative COVID test to attend the 2021 TUG National Users Conference.

How will the events events such as the Welcome Reception and TUG Party be handled?

The Welcome Reception will be held in the Exhibit Hall (a ballroom spanning 19,000+ sq./ft!). Masks are required in the Exhibit Hall when not actively eating or drinking.

The TUG Party will be held outdoors at the ARIA Resort & Casino's Palms Pool area/deck. Food/drinks will be served based on health and safety regulations mandated by the state of Nevada.

Based on Las Vegas regulations, masks are not required to be worn outdoors.

How are session rooms and seating being managed to keep health and safety in mind?

Session rooms and seating will be managed in a floorplan that aligns with current guidelines on social distancing as required by Las Vegas/the state of Nevada. Disinfectant wipes will be provided in each session room for attendees to wipe computers, desks, etc.

How are meals and beverages being served?

Food and beverage will be prepared and served based on COVID health and safety regulations mandated by the state of Nevada. Meals will be served in the Exhibit Hall which spans 19,000+ sq./ft.
